Bargain Box Donates Its Goods to All Victims of Reading Condo Fire

Reading Church Opens Its Doors to Help Those in Need by Offering Items for Free

READING, Mass. -- June 2, 2017 -- Church of the Good Shepherd, a warm and welcoming, Episcopal church located at 95 Woburn Street in Reading (near the train station) is opening up its Bargain Box Thrift Store to all victims of the devastating fire that occurred on Thursday at the Schoolhouse Condominiums on Sanborn Street. Residents of the condominiums may stop by the thrift store and gather any items that they may need at no cost.

Those in Reading, North Reading and surrounding communities seeking to donate gently used clothing, jewelry, kitchenware and other goods are encouraged to deliver their goods to The Bargain Box on Wednesday's between 9:00 pm - 12:00 pm, or during the shop's regular hours: Fridays 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
