The Rockets took a close game and blew it open during the middle innings, cruising to an 8-0 home win over the visiting Tanners.

Thanks to the victory, Reading improved to 10-5 on the year with a 6-3 league mark, good for first place. Woburn, meanwhile, dropped to 2-14 on the year, 1-9 in league play.
