Beer and Wine Tastings at New England Beverage
Escape into fine wine and spirits with guidance from aficionados.
If you are a connoisseur of beer and/or wine, has just the escape for you. The North Reading establishment, which has had a 21-year tenure in town, has been hosting beer and wine tastings since 1997.
“Wine tastings have always been a great way to educate our customers and provide a fun way to experience something new,” Owner Dean Antonucci said.
In September the store hosted 14 breweries for its Grand Craft Beer tasting, which included Magic Hat, Wachusett, Narrangasett and Guiness. If you missed that, you can make up for lost time at the Grand Wine Tasting. On Sunday, November 13, the store will host several wineries, which will include samples from Diageo, Woodbridge, Gallo Family, Robert Mondavi, Ravenswood, Liberty, Bogle vineyards and more. There will be almost 100 wines available, both domestic and international, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Store staff will be available for guidance, if you have questions.

Additionally, the store runs an ongoing Friday night wine-tasting from 4-7 with an in-store expert, so you can discover a new spirit every week.
If you’re not one to pass up a fine wine or a great beer, stay tuned for future tastings.

“With craft beer becoming so popular, this annual event will surely grow,” Antonucci said.
