Bob Kiley IV Passes Away

Longtime Reading resident was a 1983 graduate of RMHS.

Bob Kiley, a longtime resident of Reading, passed away on Aug. 20 at the age of 53 after a short illness.

He leaves his two beloved children, his son Robert and his daughter Ashleigh, his parents Robert and Joyce Kiley, his brother Steven and sister in law Anne, his niece Jennifer Kiley all of Reading and his loving friend, Lisa Millette of NH. Also survived by his Aunt Joan and Uncle Bruce Coles of CO, his Aunt Karen Kiley of Saugus, his Uncle Tony Tuccille of NC and cousins; Cathy Peters of AL, Cheryl Castro of MO, Cindy Oliver of CO, Michael Tuccille of NC, Gina Hall of TX, Jared Kiley of Saugus and Heath Kiley of Melrose.

Bob was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School class of 1983 and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He worked with his brother Steven at Kiley Paint, a Division of Kiley & Associates of Reading and Wilmington.

He will be remembered by friends and family for his big smile, fun attitude, his joy for life and his quirky sense of humor. He loved his dog Oreo, a good book, music and going to concerts, the ocean and was an avid boater. He was a member of the Danvers Fish and Game Club and the Wakefield Elks, where he loved to play a friendly game of pool.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date. A scholarship has been set up in his memory with the Reading Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 492, Reading MA 01867.
