READING, MA — Authorities are warning community members to stay away from the area as they investigate a bomb threat at Reading Public Library and Reading Town Hall.

The threat was made by email directly to the library Saturday at 9:46 a.m., according to Reading police and fire officials.

The library was immediately evacuated, officials said. The town hall is closed on the weekends.
