People Will Say We’re In Love: Scenes from the Musical Theater Greats
Musical Theater Concert
St. Theresa’s Parish will host a concert of show tunes on Saturday, February 27th at 7:00 pm in the parish hall, with a reception to follow. The concert will feature favorite songs from Annie Get Your Gun, Oklahoma, Street Scene, and She Loves Me. Each set has been crafted to include narration and dialogue from the shows, creating an evening of theatrical vignettes.
The performers, Kim Lamoureux of North Reading, Michael Merullo of Somerville, and Nick Pothier of Derry, NH, are all professional musicians who are active in the metro Boston area in musical theater, opera, and operetta. They have worked with companies such as Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, the Hanover Theater, Opera Breve, the Concord Players, Riverside Theater Works, the Savoyard Light Opera Company, and many more. This concert is part of an ongoing self-produced series.

Tickets are $10 in advance online at www.peoplewillsaywereinlove.bpt.me, or by donation at the door. The concert is a partial fundraiser for the parish, and there will be a reception to follow.
