Bruins Alumni Coming To Burbank Arena Saturday

Nifty and Taz are coming to Reading Saturday and if those nicknames mean anything to you, you'll want to be at Burbank Arena at 2 p.m.

Rick Middleton and Terry O'Reilly are just two of the former Bruins greats who will be in Reading Saturday for a Reading Cooperative Charitable Foundation hockey game between the Bruins Alumni team and Reading Fire and Ice. All proceeds from the 2 p.m. game will be contributed to the Reading Schoolhouse Condo Fire Fund.

In addition to Middleton and O'Reilly, the Bruins alumni roster will include goalie Cleon Daskalakis, forwards Fred Ahern, Ken Hodge Jr., Ken Linseman, Tom Songin, Mark Mowers, Andy Brickley, Steve Leach, Dan LaCouture, Tim Sweeney, and Graeme Townshend, and defensemen Mike Mottau and Bob Beers. The team is coached by Bob Miller.
