Burbank YMCA Laurel Kluge 5K Ribbon Run Winners Announced
Great Turn-out for this 4th Annual Event Held in Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October
Autumn rain and chilly temps did not dampen community-wide spirit for the 4th Annual Laurel Kluge 5K Ribbon Run and Walk on Saturday morning, October 13. Nearly 200 runners and walkers took part in the 5K Road Race, which benefits PINK and LiveSTRONG programs at the Burbank YMCA in Reading.
Congratulations to Johan Keller, Overall Male Winner, and Allison Caligiuri for Overall Female Winner. Johan finished the 5K course over residential streets starting and ending at the Burbank YMCA in 18 minutes, 3 seconds; Allison crossed the finish line in 23:20.
Burbank Y Executive Director John Feudo said, “It was a fantastic day despite the weather and an amazing fundraiser for our specialized exercise and emotional support programs for local cancer survivors. A huge thank you to the participants, volunteers, donors and sponsors who made this race a success!”
