This week, the Bargain Box thrift store is open on Friday, Sept. 4, from 10-3 and Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10-1. Located downstairs at Church of the Good Shepherd, 95 Woburn Street in Reading. The Bargain Box is jam packed with household goods, seasonal decorations, clothing ($10 to fill a bag!), jewelry & toys & kids’ books galore. Our parishioners, neighbors & customers donate wonderful items to benefit the church, outreach programs as well as local & global charities. This month’s charity is the North Reading Food Pantry.
