This week, the Bargain Box thrift store is open on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10-1 and, due to a funeral at the church, will be closed on Friday, Oct. 30. Located downstairs at Church of the Good Shepherd, 95 Woburn Street in Reading. The Bargain Box is jam packed with household goods, seasonal decorations, clothing ($10 to fill a bag!), jewelry & toys & kids’ books galore. Our parishioners, neighbors & customers donate wonderful items to benefit the church, outreach programs as well as local & global charities. This month’s charity is the Reading Food Pantry. This Saturday, all Halloween items are 50% off & any remaining costumes are free! Bring us your treasures & find new ones here. You’ll be glad you came!
