Car Careens Down Embankment In Reading Accident
A person was injured in an accident that involved a car becoming airborne and traveling 100-150 ft. down an embankment.
READING, MA — A person was injured in a car accident early Saturday morning in Reading, according to a post from Reading Firefighters Local 1640.
Crews were dispatched to Walkersbrook Drive at about 3 a.m. While treating the patient, crews learned the accident occurred on I-95 north.
The patient left the vehicle and went to find help. Firefighters and state and local police conducted an extensive search for the vehicle, which they found in the woods 100-150 ft. down an embankment, heavily entangled in trees and brush.

The vehicle had become airborne and rolled multiple times in the woods. No one else was in the vehicle. Crews stayed for an extended period while tow crews worked to remove the vehicle.
