Car, Digital Sign Severely Damaged In Reading Crash: Firefighters

READING, MA — A Jeep struck a digital message board on I-95 Friday night in Reading, according to a post from Reading Firefighters Local 1640.

Firefighters were dispatched to I-95 at I-93 on a report of a possible vehicle fire Friday at 9:30 p.m.

Crews arrived and found a Jeep with significant damage after striking a digital message board. There was no fire and the driver was not injured, according to the firefighters union.

The message board was severely damaged.
