Caterina Gentile Passes Away

Caterina Gentile of Reading died Dec. 22. She was 79.

She was the cherished sister of Concetta Gentile and her husband Guido, Maria Gentile and her husband Renato, Luigina Gentile and her husband Augusto all of Italy, the late Immacolata Perrino and her husband Giacomo Perrino of Melrose and the late Raffaele Gentile. Loving aunt of Genevieve Backer of Reading, Antonella Sampson of Wilmington John Perrino of Reading, Jacqueline Fox of Wakefield and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Thursday, December 28 at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10 am. Funeral home visiting hours Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be held in Italy at a later date.
