Chamber Hosts Legislative Breakfast Wednesday
Small Business Month begins with chance to speak to legislative leaders.

Small Business Month kicks off this Wednesday with a Legislative Breakfast at 8 a.m. at The Saving's Bank on Main Street in Wakefield. The event is being sponsored by the Reading-North Reading and Wakefield-Lynnfield Chambers of Commerce.
The event will run until 9:30 a.m. and feature a panel discussion with Senator Jason Lewis and Senator Brendan Crighton along with local business owners and stakeholders about issues that hit your bottom line.

This is your chance to share your thoughts and concerns with your Legislative leaders on Beacon Hill. We strongly encourage you to participate! Massachusetts small businesses potentially face:
- Creation of a permanent sales tax holiday
- $15 minimum wage
- Discriminatory application of the sales tax for local merchants vs. untaxed online sellers
- A newly imposed MassHealth assessment
- Double-digit health care premium increases
Use the door to the right of the main entrance. The forum will take place downstairs in the Community Room.
