Governor to speak at annual meeting of Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce.

The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce will host Governor Charlie Baker as the keynote speaker at their Annual breakfast meeting Thursday, March 30th from 7–9 a.m. at the IMAX Theater at Jordan’s Furniture, 50 Walker’s Brook Drive in Reading.

Tickets are on sale and are $25. Registration, networking and breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. with the program starting promptly at 8. Event registration is online at www.readingnreadingchamber.com. This event is open to the public; you do not need to own a business or be a Chamber member to attend and hear the Governor’s remarks. Governor Baker will provide an overview of the work he and the Lieutenant Governor are doing with Massachusetts cities and towns, their bipartisan approach to governing, and some of the important projects the administration is working on (from education to transportation to healthcare and others), all to make Massachusetts a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

“The Chamber looks forward to hosting Governor Baker at our Annual Meeting,” commented Chamber President Michael Doyon. Elliot Tatelman of Jordan’s Furniture will also be part of the Annual Meeting. He remarked “I look forward to hearing the Governor’s keynote speech on March 30th and welcoming the Chamber members to our Reading store.
