Coalition to Screen Film About Prescription Drug Abuse
The Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse is screening If Only on Sept. 30 at Jordan's IMAX Theater.

Prescription drugs are the most commonly abused drugs among 12 and 13 year olds, according to the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids.
The Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse will be tackling that frightening issue with a screening of the short film If Only at the Jordan’s IMAX Theater on Friday, Sept. 30.
The short film “If Only” was created by the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundationand Millennium Health to raise awareness among teens and adults.

It was filmed in a Massachusetts town that has been heavily impacted by the prescription drug abuse epidemic.
Members of the community who lost loved ones provided input into the film for accuracy, and some are in the film.

Following the film, addiction professionals will be on hand to answer questions and share resources.
The event takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 30.
