Coolidge Middle School Student to ride 150 miles to help find a cure for MS

Andrew Benassi will be riding his bike 150 miles from Boston to Provincetown to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

On June 24th and 25th, Coolidge 8th grader Andrew Benassi will be riding his bike 150 miles from Boston to Provincetown to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He’s riding to support his Mom, Josie Benassi who suffers from MS and to raise money for much needed research to find a cure.

Andrew is part of a local biking team called “Pep’s Peddlers”, named after local Reading resident John “Pep” Pipitone. “Pep” has MS and some of his friends started the team to support him and raise money for MS research. Now in our 10th year, Pep’s Peddlers is on track to reach an amazing fundraising milestone - $1 Million dollars raised for the National MS Society.

If you see Andrew or any other Pep’s Peddler training for the ride, give them a thumbs up and if you can please consider making a donation.
