David Crispo Passes Away

Longtime Reading resident was a self-employed Snap-On-Tool dealer for over 30 years.

David G. Crispo, a resident of Reading for 28 years, formerly of Belmont and Wilmington, died Feb. 13 at the Care One Nursing Center in Wilmington. He was 69 years of age.

David was born in Lowell on June 20, 1948, the son of the late George A. Crispo, Sr. and Florence (Lariviere) Crispo. David was a self-employed Snap-On-Tool dealer for over 30 years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed car racing, and feeding the birds and squirrels.

His family was first and foremost in his life. David was the beloved husband of Ruth E. (Hodgdon) Crispo. Devoted father of Laurie A. Crispo and her husband Stephen Kazmierczak of Tewksbury and Thomas D. Crispo of Reading. Cherished brother of Joseph P. Crispo, George A. Crispo, Jr., Georgette E. Frisch, Therese M. Black, the late Mary Therese Crispo and the late Carole J. Gath. He was also the loving grandfather of Maxwell Crispo.

His funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Monday, Feb. 19 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Funeral home visiting hours will be held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in David’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. MA/NH Chapter 309 Waverly Oaks Rd.
