David K. Johnson Foundation Celebrates 15 Years

To date, the organization has raised over $300,000 towards supporting a cure for Alzheimer's and helping families affected.

The David K. Johnson Foundation recently celebrated its 15th year supporting a cure for Alzheimer’s and helping families affected.

“We reached an important milestone at our 15th annual golf tournament. To date we have raised over $300,000 towards supporting a cure for Alzheimer’s and helping families affected,” said Co-Founder Gregg Johnson. The money raised will be donated to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Peter Sanborn Place, Home Care & Adult Day Services, and the David and Susan Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The foundation would like to thank their sponsors, golfers and volunteers for contributing towards another successful event. The DKJ Foundation is a 501(c) (3) public charity and all overhead and operating expenses are paid for by the founders.

“As we head into a busy fall season, we are excited to continue connecting with great people,” said Jen Cote, Foundation Director. ”On September 29th Aine’s Boutique in Reading is hosting a Fashion Show at Bunratty Tavern, where all money raised will go directly to DKJ.”
