David Traniello for Selectman - a Real Asset to the Town of Reading

Marsie West's Letter to the Editor in Support of David Traniello for Selectman

I have grown to appreciate David Traniello’s leadership skills over the past 18 months through our work together on the Zoning Advisory Committee (ZAC).  David leveraged his experience as Vice Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals to provide excellent advice and recommendations to improve our Zoning Bylaws, which will benefit the community long into the future.

David’s experience and skills complement the current Board of Selectmen in several ways.  A well-respected local attorney, David has great attention to detail and excellent reasoning skills.  His quiet leadership does not require him to be the first one to speak, instead allowing him to listen and weigh all sides of an issue before making a decision.  David has strong community ties and actively participates in the Reading Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Sanborn Place Board of Directors.  As a Selectman, David will provide diversity of experience to the Board and will be a real asset to the Town of Reading.

It has been an honor and my pleasure to serve on the Board of Seletmen these past 2 years.  I will miss the opportunity to continue on the Board but I wanted to spare the town the expense of a special election to fill a partial term.
