WILMINGTON, MA - Commuters taking the Haverhill Line, be prepared for a delayed commute after a disabled train in Wilmington has impacted service all along that line.

A mechanical issue outbound ended service in North Wilmington earlier this afternoon.
The first train impacted was the Haverhill Train #209 (1:10 outbound) which terminated in North Wilmington due to a mechanical issue.

Shuttle buses have replaced service from North Wilmington.
The disabled train is currently being pushed by another train.
As of 2:35 p.m. Friday, trains are running significantly behind schedule Friday afternoon. Here’s what we know right now:
Currently, Trains #207 and #209 are heading toward North Wilmington Station, but are delayed. According to the MBTA, Train 207 is approximately 70 min late and Train 209 is 20-25 minutes behind schedule.
