Ed Harnish Passes Away
He served his country in the US Air Force 354th during the Vietnam War.

Edward "Ed" R. Harnish, 74, of Reading, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 20, at his home in Reading.
He was born in Cambridge, MA on August 16, 1942, a son of Elmer and Geraldine (Ryan) Harnish. Ed proudly served his country in the US Air Force 354th during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged on August 26, 1965. He was a courier of medical supplies of Dynamax until his retirement.
Ed was constantly helping his family and friends in whatever ways he could. This is no surprise to anyone as he was a caring and giving individual with a laugh that brought a smile to anyone in a room. He enjoyed spending his time with his wife, Liz, and really loved to see and talk about his grand children. He enjoyed watching all the New England sports teams but really loved the Red Sox.
