Elizabeth Warren: 'Hottest' Politician in U.S.?
Warren topped the Quinnipiac University National Thermometer rankings.
Elizabeth Warren topped a recent poll of the most popular politicians in the country.
The Quinnipiac University National Thermometer is based on poll data measuring voters' feelings toward candidates.
Warren, the Democratic senior U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, got a top score of 48.6 degrees. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was second at 47.8 degrees, while U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin, was third at 47. 4 degrees.
"A lot of voters don’t know much about Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, but them that do give her a warm embrace," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll.
Warren has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2016, though she has said she won't run in the race.
