
Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA is hosting its Open House on Sunday, October 16 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Austin is a Catholic, co-educational, independent day school serving students in grades 6 through 12 from more than 55 communities, including the Boston suburbs, Merrimack Valley, North Shore and Southern New Hampshire.
During the Open House, parents and prospective students will be able to view the entire campus, including classrooms, art, photography and music rooms, athletic fields and the gymnasium. Faculty, staff, school leadership and current parents and students will be on hand to answer questions and offer tours.

Austin offers a rigorous liberal arts curriculum, with low student-teacher ratios, flexible course placement and a unique Phase System which looks at students’ academic abilities and places them accordingly in the college-preparatory program. The school strives always to challenge its students to perform at their highest ability level while offering strong academic support and instruction both in and out of the classrooms. The deadline for applications is December 16, 2011, for enrollment in the 2012-2013 school year.

All applicants are required to take an entrance exam, which is offered at Austin on November 12, 2011 and December 10, 2011 at 8:30 am. The deadlines to register for the Entrance Exam are November 10 and December 8. Application and registrations may be completed at Austin’s website: www.austinprepschool.org.
