Author Visit - David Greenberg
All are invited to an evening with David Greenberg, author of young adult novel A Tugging String.  This novel, based on the author’s own experiences growing up during the Civil Rights era, explores a turbulent period of American history through a child’s eyes.

Mr. Greenberg’s father, Jack Greenberg,  was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s primary lawyer and also helped to argue Brown v. Board of Education. The author will discuss various issues of the civil rights movement, the attitudes of the time, and the important people involved.

This moving and inspirational talk is open to all and appropriate for students in grades 5 and up.

Copies of the author’s books will be available for purchase and signing.
