Chess at the Library

[Editor's note: The information below was issued in a press statement from the Reading Public Library.]

If you have always wanted to learn how to play chess; if you used to play but haven’t in a while, or if you are a veteran chess player who needs a partner, drop into the Reading Public Library on Saturday, December 17 from 3 - 4 p.m. to join a game.

The Library will have tables set up for players of all ages and abilities. (Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Trainers will be available to teach chess to beginners of all ages. Bring a friend for an hour of fun. Chess sets will be provided.

The drop-in program continues the third Saturday of each month at 3 p.m.
