Everyone is invited to come for an afternoon concert of handbell music at The First Congregational Church of Reading, United Church of Christ, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 29th. The ensemble, consisting of twelve ringers, will perform on 4 ½ octaves of Schulmerich handbells and 3 octaves of Schulmerich handchimes. Selections will include arrangements of classical and sacred music, as well as original works for handbells. There is no admission charge although a free will offering will be received to support the ensemble’s mission and outreach.
First Congregational Church of Reading is located at 25 Woburn St. at the corner of Woburn and Sanborn Streets. Handicapped access is available at the chapel entry on Sanborn St.
