The St. Agnes Church Music Ministry is pleased to announce the upcoming performance of the musical “Pippin” on August 9, 10 and 11 at Parker Middle School, 45 Temple Street, Reading; MA. All performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
“Pippin” recounts the story of Prince Pippin, the son of King Charlemagne the Great, who longed to discover the secret of true happiness and fulfillment. He sought it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of falling in love and the intrigues of political power. In the end, he found it in the simple pleasures of home and family.
The cast, crew, pit band, and pit choir of “Pippin” is comprised of many very talented Reading youths who are volunteering their skills, time, and effort to make “Pippin” possible this summer.
