Firefighters Association Collects Coats for Veterans
Coats will continue to be accepted through the middle of January.
READING, MA - During the month of December, the Reading Fire Fighters Association collected winter clothing in support of veterans.
On Tuesday, December 22, Alex Reinoso from the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center in Haverhill came to the fire station and picked up 28 new coats, 19 lightly worn coats, 57 new hats and 23 pairs of new gloves.
Pictured with the bags of warm clothing are Fire Fighter Tony Del Signore, Alex and Fire Fighter Mike Wood. Along with the clothing, over 20 toys were provided for the children of the veterans supported by the Northeast Outreach Center.

Collections will continue to be accepted at the main fire station until January 15. The Reading Fire Department and Town Manager, Bob LeLacheur would like to thank all who donated for their generous support.
