Free weekend and no joiner's fee at the Burbank YMCA in Reading during Feb. 13-16, also February vacation teen programs next week

On February 13-16 you can try the gymnasium, wellness center, pool, or a group exercise class for free! Also, if you become a member on these days there is no joiner fee. Contact us for more information: 781-944-9622,

Teen February vacation activities: get out of the house, be active, or try something new! Unless noted, the following activities are open to grades six and up.

· This upcoming Saturday, 2/14 I’ll be taking a small group of kids to Boston University to visit the campus and watch a Division I men’s basketball game. We’ll meet at the Reading commuter rail station at 1030am and be back in Reading around 630pm. A snack for the ride down and transportation is included. The tickets were generously given to us for free by BU. Food on campus is not included. PLEASE REGISTER AND FILL OUT THE PERMISSION SLIP BY TOMORROW (THURSDAY) NIGHT! SPACE IS LIMITED!

· 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Monday and Tuesday 2/16 and 2/17. 12-3pm, MS 12-130pm and HS 130-3pm, please email Brad teams of no more than four. Prizes for winning team.

· 4-on-4 floor hockey tournament on Wednesday and Thursday 2/18 and 2/19. 12-3pm, MS 12-130pm and HS 130-3pm, please email Brad teams of no more than five. Prizes for winning team.

· Homemade lava lamps science/craft project on Tuesday 2/17. 630-8pm, supplies and snacks will be provided, please bring one 16-20oz empty plastic water bottle.

· Movie Night on Thursday 2/19. 630-830pm, snacks will be provided and there will be several movies from which to choose.
