Friends of Reading Recreation (FORR) Summer Track & Field Clinic
NEW 3 day Summer Track & Field Clinic designed for Kids entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade !
The FORR Summer Track & Field Clinic is great opportunity for young children to learn about and experience how wonderful the sport of Track can be.
The focus of this clinic is on having fun and learning abot different track events, such as hurdles, long jump, javelin, relays and running. Each session, children will be taken through an age appropriate dynamic warm up and will be taught the basics of each event. After, they will have a chance to practice different events through drills and games.
The clinic will run from 10:00am to Noon from Monday July 18th to Wednesday July 20th at the High School track and is open to Boys & Girls entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade this Fall. The program cost is $55.00 per child. Enrollment is limited to Reading Residents.

Participants will be under the direction of Reading High School Track Boys Varsity Coach Scott Price and members of the High School teams. Mr. Price has been coaching and teaching elementary school for 15 years and is thrilled to inspire the next generation of future Reading Tracksters. He is the father of two young children - Kate (age 8) and Jack (age 6).
