It was a day of hugs and good-byes at the this afternoon as the fifth grade class graduated and began their journey to middle school and beyond. Just under 100 students graduated.
Parents and family members brought balloons and cameras to celebrate and remember the moment.
Some posed with teachers and friends, while others enjoyed a hug from mom and dad.

“I think it’s wonderful,” Lisa Ferraguto said of her daughter’s time at Hood. “She had such a great time here at the Hood School. She’s done great and she is really looking forward to middle school.”
Up next for the fifth graders are three exciting years at before moving onto high school, college, and beyond.
