Halloween Parade Brings Out Super Heroes and ... A Donut

Reading Recreation's 20th annual parade a hit with kids and parents.

Reading Recreation held its 20th annual Halloween Parade Sunday with plenty of super heroes, princesses, and of course pizza at the finish. And yes, even a donut or two.

With Reading Community Service Officer Kristen O'Shaughnessy leading the parade, parents (some in costume) and kids (all in costume), headed out from the Coolidge Middle School and returned a short time later for pizza and to hear a special performance from Johnny the K.

And given what the weather was like Saturday, no one complained about temps in the 40s and a few clouds. The Halloween Parade was sponsored in part by PDA Dental Group, Wingate at Reading, and Friends of Reading Recreation (FORR).
