High School Football Picks: Playoffs Continue
Xaverian falls, Canton is shocked, Andover keeps right on rolling, and more.

Andover over St. John's Prep — A yes vote on Question 7 would allow future Andover opponents to play with 14 defenders on the field. It won't help Prep this week, which becomes second victim of high-scoring Golden Warriors.
Reading over Chelmsford — If you want surprising, don't look here. Unless you've heard the rumor that the old Portland Pie is slated to become a boutique cannabis store when Question 4 passes. Now that's surprising.
Bridgewater-Raynham over Wellesley — Trojans won this game last year when MIAA Football Committee put B-R in Division 1A. Removed from the heavyweight division, nothing will stop Dan Buron & Co.
Haverhill over Acton-Boxboro — One of many games this weekend where the question isn't who is a good and who isn't, but rather, who cares and who doesn't. Both teams were knocked out of the Division 1 North playoffs last weekend. Which group of teenage boys still cares?
Rising Tide Charter School over Xaverian — Not this year dummy. This is my pick for 2017, after Question 3 passes and the Tide builds a football powerhouse. As for this weekend, Xaverian beats Catholic Memorial. Not a lot of drama in that one.
Beverly over Tewksbury — Panthers spoil a perfectly good Tewksbury/Billerica rematch.
Masconomet over Billerica — Unless of course Billerica also loses. In that case the rematch is on, minus the importance of course.
Stoughton over Duxbury — Anyone know what will happen when the Green Dragons are actually in a close game? I do, and it's called the upset of the season.
Brockton over BC High — The Boxers were shut out by BC High in the first matchup but as long as sophomore quarterback Tom O'Brien plays mistake free, the result should be reversed this week.
Judge Rotenberg Educational Center over Oliver Ames — Yes, I know, a shocking prediction.
Marshfield over King Philip — Jack Of-All-Trades McNeil leads surprising Rams to upset over one of 12 unbeaten teams left in EMass playoffs.
Last week 6-4, season 42-32.
