High School Senior Excels at Urban Art

Accomplishment: Paul will lead North Reading Youth Services' Urban Art Workshop on May 6 and will teach the youth of North Reading how they can make urban art pieces. He recently was accepted to the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Key to success: North Reading Youth Services Director Erica Hansen nominated Paul. Hansen said she had been looking for someone to lead a workshop on urban art and was not sure where to look. She asked a North Reading Middle School art teacher for suggestions, and she was referred to Paul. "He came with a box of spray paint, a plastic Tupperware cover, a piece of cardboard and a small canvas board. He created a masterpiece within 15 minutes and did so effortlessly," Hansen said.
