Hornets Hockey Receives Sportsmanship Award

Each Monday, North Reading Patch will recognize a . This week's honoree is the hockey team, which was honored March 20 at the TD Garden in Boston as one of four recipients of the James F. Mulloy Ice Hockey Team Sportsmanship Award statewide.

Team: North Reading High School hockey team.

Key to Success: Despite a slow 2-6 start to the season, the Hornets never gave up and rallied to make the playoffs with a 10-win season, coach John Giuliotti said.
