I-93/I-95 Interchange Ramp Closures Starting At 10 P.M.
Traffic impacts will allow crews to conduct highway lighting work.

READING, Ma. – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced there will be varying overnight ramp closures at the I-93 and I-95 interchange (Exit 37) in Reading each evening from Thursday, July 11 through the morning of Saturday, July 20.
The ramp closures will be implemented each evening from 10 p.m., through 4 a.m., the following morning. The ramp being closed at this interchange will vary each evening depending upon the work being conducted, and these impacts are necessary in order to allow crews to conduct highway lighting work.

This work is part of a $14.8 million project that is scheduled to be completed in spring 2021.
Appropriate signage, detours, law enforcement details, and message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. People traveling through the impacted areas should be mindful of delays, reduce speed, and use caution. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
