Imagination Celebration Spring Gala on May 2

The Reading Education Foundation (REF) is currently selling tickets for the social event of the season – its 4th annual spring gala, the Imagination Celebration on May 2nd, 2015!

This fabulous party and fundraiser offers an opportunity each year for the Reading community and school staff to join REF board members and celebrate what we can accomplish together for our students.

This year’s gala will again be held again at the former Christian Science Church, at 32 Lowell Street in Reading, now home to the Northeast School of Ballet. The newly-renovated historical building provides a beautiful and intriguing location for Reading residents (and friends) to come together in support of REF and its mission to provide innovative and creative grant funding to Reading Public School teachers.

This fundraiser will feature: surprise “Imagination Libations,” martini tasting, delicious appetizers and desserts, a cash bar, and an outstanding collection of auction and raffle items. In addition, there is an online auction hosted by Bidding For Good, which runs from April 24th to May 8th.

This past year REF has raised over $40,000 for teacher grants, awarding grants to elementary, middle and high school teachers in Reading Public Schools for a variety of projects. Visit our website to learn more.
