Incumbents All Intend to Run Again in May
Only four candidates have taken out nomination papers for the spring town election, town clerk says.

Incumbents for the four seats up for election in May have signaled their intention to run again, but no challengers have taken out nomination papers to date.
Nomination papers are available at the Town Clerk's Office. Candidates must obtain certified signatures for at least 50 registered voters who reside in North Reading.
Nomination papers must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office by March 15 at 5 p.m.

According to the Town Clerk's Office, the following candidates have filed their intent to be on the ballot on May 3:
Office Candidate Selectman Sean T. Delaney (I) Moderator John J. Murphy (I) School Committee Clifford W. Bowers (I) Community Planning Commission Christopher B. Hayden (I)(I) denotes incumbent.
