Jacob Czuczwa Passes Away

2011 RMHS grad loved sports and music.

Jacob Czuczwa, 24, passed away on June 25 in his home.

Jacob graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 2011, and attended the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. He was currently the Manager of the Noodles Restaurant in Woburn.

Though active in sports and scouting, Jacob’s true passion was music. Jacob was a member of the award winning RMHS Marching and Jazz Bands. But, it was composing and playing his own music that was the source of his greatest joy.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Susan and Louis Czuczwa of Reading; and his brothers, Andrew of Reading and Aaron Skotland and his wife Christa of Los Angeles, California. He was the beloved nephew of Joan and Richard Murray of Connecticut, and Jean and Larry Rhodes of Ohio. He is also survived by his cousins, Nick, Allie, Alec and Ainsley. Jacob was the Uncle of Kellan Skotland.

Funeral services will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. in Reading on Saturday, July 1st from 9:30-10:30 am, followed by burial at the Forest Glen Cemetery in Reading. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening, June 30, from 4-8 pm.
