Woburn Native John Korarajczyk made his acting debut as an extra in the recently released film “Black Mass”. You can see John in two scenes, including the background of the St. Patrick’s Day parade, where Johnny Dep, acting as Whitey Bulger speaks to the actor playing John Connelly.
Mr. K, as his student call him is also a fixture in the local music scene, teaching and conducting band in Lowell, private lessons in Reading at Creative Arts and playing with the Portland Symphony. You may have heard John’s beautiful clarinet performances at the recent Reading Faire or at Creative Arts concerts and fundraisers.
In keeping with the movie theme, John Korajczyk and the Portland Symphony with play a movie themed based Halloween show on October 18 at 2:30pm. The audience is welcome to attend the performance at the Merrill Auditorium in costume.
