May 16 event to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

The Reading Police Department invites residents to a blood drive at the station on Union Street May 16 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The blood drive will benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Center along with Brigham and Women's Hospital and will be held on their joint blood mobile.
Residents should make an appointment to donate by going on tinyurl.com/RPDMay2017. Walk-ins are welcome as the schedule allows. Have questions? Then call 617-632-3206 or email your question to blooddonors@partners.org. Everyone who donates will receive a 17-ounce vacuum insulated bottle for warm and cold drinks as a thank you.
A photo ID is required for new donors and police suggest donors drink extra water and eat before donating.
