Joseph Eiro Passes Away

Wa employed for Delta Electronics for many years until his retirement.

Joseph L. Eiro, 81, beloved husband of Rosaria (Piscitello) Eiro, passed away on Saturday, June 10th, at Winchester Hospital. Born in Azores, Portugal, he is the son of the late Jose and Maria (Netto) Eiro.

Joseph was employed for Delta Electronics for many years until his retirement. He cared deeply for his wife Rosaria. Joseph loved spending time with his wife, shopping and watching his favorite shows. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures of being at his home, especially taking the time to mow the lawn on his rider mower. He will truly be missed by his family and all who knew him.

In addition to his loving wife Rosaria, he is survived by two daughters: Phyllis Shea and her husband Tim and Mary Eiro-Bartevyan and her husband Arno; three grandchildren: Melanie, Joseph and Tara; one sister: Theresa LaCroix; brother-in-law: Reverend Primo Piscitello, O.F.M and his sister-in-law: Vincenza Wright; along with many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters: Maria DaSilva and Lidwina Machado and brothers-in-law: Alexander Piscitello and Joseph Piscitello.

Funeral services will be held from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28), Stoneham, on Monday at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Joseph's Eternal Life at Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10am. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8pm.
