Kim Penney Hoping to Go Out On Top With Lady Rockets
The Reading High School girls basketball head coach has her team in the North Division 2 semifinal round during her final season on the sidelines.
After 15 years on the sidelines for the Reading High School girls basketball team, head coach Kim Penney is stepping aside following the current postseason. And Penney is hoping to go out on top.
Penney will take a break from coaching to tend to her family and business, but first she hopes to cap off a second straight undefeated season with a state championship. The Lady Rockets take on Wilmington Thursday in the North Division 2 semifinal round.
