Last Call For Students Interested In RMLD Art Contest
The first-place winner will receive a $100 Staples gift card .

A release from the Reading Municipal Light Department:
Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) invites high school students from Reading, North Reading,
Wilmington, and areas of Lynnfield served by RMLD to showcase their creativity by participating in an electricity themed art contest. Various art mediums will be accepted, including, but not limited to: drawings, paintings, photography, and graphic art. Finished artwork is due by Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2 pm.
Students who wish to participate must attend an education session to learn about the requirements of the contest. Sessions were held at the four public high schools in January and RMLD is holding a final educational session on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at 6:30 pm at 230 Ash Street, Reading (snow date: February 27, 2018, 6:30 pm). Light refreshments will be served.

Each participating student will receive art supplies and a certificate for four hours of community service for taking part in the contest. The first-place winner will receive a $100 Staples gift card and the chance to be featured on the cover of RMLD’s Annual Report; the second-place winner will receive a $75 Staples gift card; the third-place winner will receive a $50 Staples gift card; and the fourth-place winner will receive a $25 Staples gift card.
