"Let's Talk About Food" Festival
Celebrity and local chefs will join visionaries in Copley Square for the region's largest food education festival on September 26-27.

The 3rd annual “Let’s Talk About Food” Festival, the region’s largest public outdoor seminar and food celebration event, will return to Copley Square September 27 with a lineup of celebrity and local chefs, top food brands and leading scientists, academics and visionaries. The free festival will feature: discussions with local and renowned experts on issues from sustainability to GMOs, live interactive cooking demonstrations, kid-friendly activities and healthy food sampling—all designed to reshape how we eat, grow, cook, buy, and sell food in our communities.
To kick-off the festival, the Washington, D.C.-based Food Policy Action will launch their National Food Policy Scorecard, an effort to inspire civic action to hold lawmakers across the country accountable for how they vote on issues that affect the food our families eat. Speakers include: Michel Nischan, President and Founder of the Wholesome Wave Foundations and a James Beard award-winning restaurateur; Ken Cook, President, Environmental Working Group; and U.S. Representative Chellie Pingree. This event will take place at the Trinity Church on Friday, September 26 at 6:00PM. To RSVP, visit www.letstalkaboutfood.com
