Reading Police Department Level 3 Sex Offender Community Notification:

“The attached notification is a public information procedure to make residents aware of the presence, in Reading, of a former offender who has been classified as a Level 3 sex offender by the Sex Offender Registry Board as required by MGL Ch6, Sec 178c-17p. The law requires posting of notices in newspapers, public buildings, schools, libraries, and other locations.”

Work Address: 61 East Main St. in Norton, Mass.

“The individual named in the notice has complied with all the requirements of the law. He has registered with the Reading Police Department. We want to remind residents that we are just trying to make the public of the situation, not to cause any alarm. We also have to remind the public that it is a crime to engage in illegal discrimination, harassment, or threats towards a registered offender.”
