Longtime Reading Police Officer Bids Department Farewell

The lieutenant is retiring after 31 years with the department.

Reading Police Lt. Richard Robbins served his final day with the department on Jan. 5.

Robbins’s retirement marks the end of his 31-year tenure with the Reading PD, according to a post on the Reading PD Facebook page,

“During his tenure, he has made many connections throughout the community,” the post reads.
