Lumina Wins Favorite Hair Salon

This week’s Best of Patch Readers’ Choice showed one thing –

We received more 700 votes in the poll, as well as 40 comments, 38 Facebook recommendations and six tweets. That’s not even counting the numerous reviews that readers wrote on the businesses’ listings on Patch Places.

It was an incredibly close race, but in the end Lumina is the winner of this week’s Best of Patch Readers’ Choice.

The Main Street business has been in Reading since 2008. According to Lumina's :

"The salon features a relaxing setting for hair styling, with a choice of Aquage hair products or Zerran's natural products line. Coloring is a specialty, with choices ranging from full-color to highlights, foil, sunburst, henna and color glaze. Perms and straightening are also available. Hair extensions, updos and bridal packages will complete your look for that special occasion.

"The salon offers therapeutic massage as well. Featuring deep tissue, Shiatsu and Swedish techniques, with relaxing music and aroma therapy. To complete your spa experience, Lumina offers manicures, pedicures, facial waxing and make-up."
