Man Charged With OUI After Weekend Accident

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the from Friday through Monday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

Michael J. O'Boyle, 19, of 2 Sachem St., North Reading, was arrested Saturday and charged with operating under the influence-liquor and a marked lanes violation after an accident on Old Andover Road.

Friday

At 10:40 a.m., a person reported finding a used shell casing at 100 Lowell Road. Police reported the item was a live .45-caliber round with a blue tip, which was recovered and entered in property.

At 10:36 p.m., a caller reported a possible intoxicated driver on Route 62. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Saturday

At 2:40 a.m., police took a Dedham man into protective custody after responding to a report of a disturbance at a local address.

At 10:49 a.m., the owner of Lew's Mobil, 160 Park St., reported a person who did not pay for $10 of gas on Jan. 8. Police located the individual, who said he would pay for the gas.

At 11:28 a.m., police received a report that a car was stolen from Larch Road overnight.

At 8:29 p.m., a resident reported a possible underage drinking party at her home. Three juveniles were located at the address, but no apparent alcohol was found, police said. The juveniles were released to an adult.

At 9:19 p.m., police received three calls for a deer hit by a car on Pleasant Street. The deer had a broken leg and was put down, police said.

Sunday

At 1:25 p.m., police received a report of an erratic operator on Marblehead Street heading toward Middleton. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 9:13 p.m., a resident from Pluff Avenue called to report that a refrigeration unit from was running and causing a disturbance. The unit was supposed to be shut off after 9 p.m., and a Stop & Shop manager reported that it was an oversight, according to police.

Monday

At 8:46 a.m., Comcast reported two of their vehicles were entered overnight.

At 12:40 p.m., a resident reported that her ATM card number was used to withdraw $100 and $400 from an ATM in Raynham.

At 12:48 p.m., a person brought a wallet that he found on Main Street to the police station. It appeared that the wallet was taken from a Park Street resident during a car break-in last week, police said.

At 4:36 p.m., police placed a Groveland man into protective custody due to apparent intoxication.
